2023 Covered California Rate Increase |
Covered California announced that the preliminary average statewide rate change for the 2023 individual market will be 6%, due in part to the return of normal medical trends that existed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Individual plans not purchased through Covered California will probably experience a similar increase. |
While the 6% rate increase reflects the statewide average, the circumstances for individual consumers will vary in 2023 given their own individual circumstances and regional rate variations. |
Beginning in October, you will be able to learn about your estimated program eligibility, financial assistance, and monthly premium for 2023. |

| Prescription Weight Loss Medication |
After having a conversation with your doctor, they may decide to prescribe you a weight loss drug. There are many diet supplements out there, but most have mixed research into their effectiveness. At the same time, they also have side effects like prescription weight loss drugs with some severe side effects like increased risk of cardiovascular and liver issues. Read more
